Iowa Irish Fest in Waterloo

Iowa Irish Fest is a three-day Irish and Celtic cultural festival in Lincoln Park, downtown Waterloo, held the first weekend of August since 2006. Organized by the Cedar Valley Irish Culture Association, its 2026 edition marks the 20th annual celebration, featuring Irish step dance, a Highland Games, a rugby tournament, and whiskey and Guinness tasting experiences.

Iowa Irish Fest began in 2006, organized by the newly formed Cedar Valley Irish Culture Association to give Waterloo's Irish American community, and the wider Cedar Valley region, an annual public celebration of Celtic heritage.
