Rex Allen Days in Willcox
Rex Allen Days honors Willcox's most famous native son, singing cowboy and actor Rex Allen, each October in the town's historic downtown. Now in its mid-seventies as an annual event, the multi-day celebration pairs a rodeo and parade with carnival rides, live music, gun and car shows, and wine tasting, anchored by the Rex Allen Museum that has displayed his career memorabilia since 1989.
Willcox is a small ranching town in southeastern Arizona's high desert grasslands, the kind of place that produces working cowboys far more often than movie stars.
