Ypsilanti Heritage Festival in Ypsilanti
The Ypsilanti Heritage Festival is a free, three-day community celebration held every third weekend of August across Riverside Park, Depot Town, and downtown Ypsilanti, Michigan, along the Huron River. Now in its fifth decade, it draws roughly 100,000 visitors for multiple live music stages, an arts and crafts fair with about 100 vendors, a parade, a beer garden, and family activities, making it one of the last large free-admission festivals of its kind in the state.
Its riverfront and historic-city identity make it a solid southeast Michigan row.
