The Festival Mundial de Poesia de Venezuela brings more than 200 national poets and dozens of international guests to Caracas each year, centered on nightly recitals at the Teatro Bolivar and extending into workshops, panels, and readings across roughly 20 states. The 19th edition, held July 14-20, 2025, honored poet Belen Ojeda under the theme Lugar de Permanencia.

The Festival Mundial de Poesia de Venezuela has grown into one of the country's largest literary gatherings, bringing together more than 200 Venezuelan poets and dozens of international guests from across the Americas, Africa, Asia, and Europe for a week of programming centered in Caracas.
