In the San Millan district of Puerto Cabello, Carabobo state, a Corpus Christi devil-dancing tradition has been observed for more than 300 years, carried out by locally organized groups known as Sociedades del Santisimo, Societies of the Most Holy, rather than through a single unified brotherhood structure.
