Festival de Burras y Burriquitas in San Casimiro
The Festival de Burras y Burriquitas gathers thousands of cultural practitioners in San Casimiro, Aragua state, each November for a parade of colorful burra and burriquita costumed dancers followed by a national dance encounter. The 18th edition, held in homage to Elpidio Boullo, drew more than 2,000 cultores from across Venezuela on November 7 and 8.
