Feria de Nuestra Senora de la Paz is Trujillo state's patronal fair honoring the Virgin of Peace, who has been the spiritual patroness of the city of Trujillo since 1568 and patroness of its diocese since 1960, closely tied to the 46.72-meter Monumento a la Virgen de la Paz overlooking the city from the site of her reported 1570 apparition.

The devotion behind Trujillo state's Feria de Nuestra Senora de la Paz reaches back to 1568, when the Virgin of Peace became the spiritual patroness of the city of Trujillo, a status later formalized further in 1960 when she was named patroness of the Diocese of Trujillo as well.
