Keo Pagoda Festival, held in spring and autumn in Duy Nhat commune, Vu Thu district, Thai Binh province, honors Zen Master Duong Khong Lo, founder of the nearly 400-year-old pagoda, with the autumn observance running from the 13th to 15th of the ninth lunar month across the pagoda's 17 historic structures.

In Duy Nhat commune, Vu Thu district, roughly 60 kilometers southeast of Hanoi, stands Keo Pagoda, a complex whose current form dates to 1632, when it was rebuilt after a devastating flood swept away the original structure founded in 1061.
