Agricultural and Commercial Show in Lusaka Showgrounds
The Zambia Agricultural and Commercial Show is the country's largest trade and farming exhibition, first held in 1919 during the colonial Northern Rhodesia era and staged annually at Lusaka Showgrounds since becoming a fixed yearly event by the mid-20th century. Organised today by the Agricultural and Commercial Society of Zambia, it showcases farming, manufacturing, technology and finance.
The Zambia Agricultural and Commercial Show traces its origins to 1919, when the territory now known as Zambia was still the British colony of Northern Rhodesia.
