Shoko Hub Unconference in Harare
Hub Unconference is the digital-rights and civic-tech track of Shoko Festival, Zimbabwe's longest-running festival of urban culture, held each September in Harare and Chitungwiza. It gathers African technologists, activists and media professionals for panels, lightning talks and masterclasses on internet governance, open data and digital sovereignty, run by Harare's Magamba Network.
Shoko Festival describes itself as Zimbabwe's longest-running festival of urban culture, and its Hub Unconference track is where that culture meets internet policy.
