ISMF Comapedrosa Andorra World Cup in Arinsal/Comapedrosa
The ISMF Comapedrosa Andorra World Cup brings elite ski mountaineering to Arinsal each January with a Vertical Race from the Xalet Igloo and a full Individual Race the following day, run entirely on the resort's own slopes for easy spectating, plus an Open category letting recreational racers compete on the same course as the professionals.
Any recreational ski mountaineer can register for the Open category and race the identical course used by the World Cup's elite athletes on the same day, a rare level of access that sets the ISMF Comapedrosa Andorra World Cup apart from most elite winter sports events, where spectating is the only option available to non-professionals.
