Shamshadin Honey and Berry Festival in Berd/Shamshadin
An August festival in Berd, Tavush region, running since 2011, celebrating the forested Shamshadin district's wild honey and berry harvests through tasting stalls, jams and preserves, and live folk performances. Since its founding in 2011, the town of Berd in Armenia's northeastern Tavush region has hosted the Shamshadin Honey and Berry Festival each August, celebrating the forested Shamshadin district's two signature harvests: wild honey and wild berries gathered from the surrounding hills.
