Armenia International Music Festival in Yerevan
A three-week autumn classical music festival in Yerevan established in 2017 by conductor Sergey Smbatyan and Konstantin Ishkhanov, featuring the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra and internationally acclaimed conductors performing Armenian and European repertoire. Its three-week autumn run gives Yerevan sustained access to internationally acclaimed classical performance each year.
The Armenia International Music Festival has become one of the signature events in Armenian cultural life since its establishment in 2017, founded at the joint initiative of Sergey Smbatyan, Artistic Director and Principal Conductor of the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra, and Konstantin Ishkhanov, President of the European Foundation for Support of Culture.
