Aruba Hi-Winds in Sarah-Quita Beach/Fisherman's Huts

Aruba Hi-Winds is a multi-day windsurfing and kitesurfing competition based at Sarah-Quita Beach, formerly known as Fisherman's Huts. Running since 1986, it pits amateur and professional riders in slalom, freestyle, wing foiling, and kite foiling, with kitesurfers also competing at Boca Grandi on Aruba's exposed north coast.

Sarah-Quita Beach, the reef-protected stretch of northern Palm Beach long known as Fisherman's Huts, was renamed in honor of Aruba's Olympic windsurfing champion, and it remains the home base for Aruba Hi-Winds.
