Laura Quinkan Dance Festival in Laura
Laura Quinkan Dance Festival is held every second year at Ang-Gnarra, near the Cape York town of Laura, and is described as the world's longest-running biennial celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture. Organised by the Ang-Gnarra Aboriginal Corporation, it brings up to a thousand performers from around twenty Indigenous communities together over three days of traditional song, dance and ceremony.
