NAIDOC Week in Multiple cities
National NAIDOC Week is held across Australia each July, celebrating the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Rooted in early-twentieth-century Aboriginal rights activism, it now features flag-raisings, community marches, cultural performances, and the National NAIDOC Awards. Events are organised locally in cities and towns nationwide under an annual theme.
Each July, communities across Australia mark National NAIDOC Week, a nationally coordinated celebration of the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
