INNtoene Jazzfestival in Diersbach

INNtoene, subtitled "Jazz am Bauernhof" or Jazz on the Farm, is an international jazz festival staged literally on the organic farm of trumpeter and artistic director Paul Zauner in Diersbach, a rural Innviertel village in Upper Austria, every year since 2002. Traditionally held at Whitsun and since 2020 in summer, its three days combine serious jazz programming with genuine farm hospitality and setting.

INNtoene carries the subtitle "Jazz am Bauernhof," Jazz on the Farm, and that is a literal description rather than a marketing flourish: since 2002 the festival has been staged directly on the organic farm belonging to the family of Paul Zauner, an organic farmer, trumpeter, bandleader, and record label owner who serves as the festival's artistic director alongside co-organizer Klaus Stumvoll.
