Linz Marathon in Linz

The Linz Donau Marathon has run every April since 2002 along a flat course beside the Danube, starting on the VOEST bridge, crossing through the Urfahr district and city center, and finishing at the Hauptplatz. The route passes Linz's Cultural Mile, including the Brucknerhaus and Ars Electronica Center, and the event includes a half marathon, quarter marathon, relay, and handbike and inline skating races.

The Linz Donau Marathon has run every year since 2002, taking its identity directly from the Danube, whose banks and cultural landmarks shape the race's route through Austria's third-largest city.
