Conchman Triathlon in Taino Beach
Conchman Triathlon is a long-running swim-bike-run race staged out of Taino Beach in Freeport, Grand Bahama, combining an open-water swim, a coastal bike leg and a beach-finish run each November. The event draws Bahamian amateur athletes and visiting triathletes, with Taino Beach's existing bar and restaurant strip doubling as the natural post-race gathering spot.
Conchman Triathlon has run out of Taino Beach in Freeport for decades, a swim-bike-run race whose name plays on the conch shell that defines so much of Grand Bahama's food and diving culture.
