Urs Khan Jahan Ali is the annual death-anniversary observance at the 15th-century Sufi saint's shrine in Bagerhat, held inside the same UNESCO-listed monument zone as the Sixty Dome Mosque. Pilgrims gather for prayer, recitation and a modest fair, while the shrine's tame marsh crocodiles remain part of the site's living folklore. The date follows the Islamic lunar calendar, so it moves year to year.
