Barbados Sailing Week in Bridgetown/Carlisle Bay
A week of CSA-handicap coastal yacht racing off Barbados's west and south coasts, based at the Barbados Cruising Club in Carlisle Bay, that builds toward the separately named Round Barbados Race circumnavigation as its closing day. It draws an international sailing crowd more than casual festival-goers, since most of the action plays out offshore.
Barbados Sailing Week runs its fleet through several days of coastal buoy racing along the island's west and south coasts before the week's yachts turn to the separately named Round Barbados Race, a single-day circumnavigation that closes out the regatta.
