A mass-participation 20-kilometer road race through central Brussels, first run in 1980, that threads the Bois de la Cambre park before finishing beneath the Cinquantenaire Arc de Triomphe. The route mixes formal boulevards with green space at the edge of the Sonian Forest, drawing a field that ranges from competitive runners to walkers marking a personal goal.

When the 20 km of Brussels first ran on 8 June 1980, 4,659 runners took the start; the race has since grown into one of the citys fixed points on the late-May calendar, closing central streets for a morning rather than a single block.
