Leuven Jazz in Leuven
Leuven Jazz spreads a roughly ten-day program across the city each Easter period, mixing formal concert-hall performances at 30CC/Schouwburg with sets staged in a nature-reserve barn, pubs, cinemas, student housing and private living rooms. Organized by 30CC since its 2011 relaunch, the program runs beyond jazz into modern classical and world music. The living-room concerts, capped by whatever a private space can hold, are its most distinctive format.
Leuven Jazz relaunched in 2011, turning what had been a single jazz weekend into a city-wide festival that now runs roughly ten days during the Easter period.
