A four-day hip-hop, rap and urban-music festival on the Rocourt grounds outside Liege, running since 2006. Multiple stages - an open-air main stage plus converted exhibition halls - carry a lineup built around rap and adjacent electronic acts rather than the rock and pop booking typical of Belgian summer festivals. Les Ardentes takes its name from La cite ardente, the old nickname for Liege, and translates loosely as The Burning Ones.
