Bansko Jazz Festival in Bansko

An open-air jazz festival held each summer on Bansko's central square, running since 1998 and now the oldest event of its kind in Bulgaria. Past lineups have included Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea and Diana Krall, performing largely free to a mountain-town crowd more used to ski season than international headliners.
