A community-empowerment festival launched in 2025 in Praia's Ponta d'Agua neighbourhood, combining dance and capoeira workshops, basketball, a health fair, community cinema and local entrepreneur exhibitions, organised around the district's historic role as the birthplace of Praia's water distribution. It ran for the first time in June 2025.

Ponta d'Agua's history as the birthplace of water distribution in Praia gave organisers the theme for the neighbourhood's first Kumunidadi Fest in 2025, staged under the motto Agua que nos uniu, Cultura que nos transforma, water that united us, culture that transforms us, deliberately linking a practical piece of the district's civic history to a festival built around community solidarity, culture, sport and social entrepreneurship.
