Semana Cultural Chinesa em Cabo Verde in Praia/Mindelo

An annual Chinese New Year-timed cultural week in Cabo Verde, organised by the Cabo Verde-China Friendship Association across Praia, Mindelo, Santa Cruz and Sao Domingos, pairing Chinese acrobatics, martial arts and traditional dance with Cabo Verdean music and dance performances. A recent eleventh edition ran under the sign of the snake.

Timed to coincide with Chinese New Year, Cabo Verde's Chinese Cultural Week has run for more than a decade under the organisation of Amicachi, the Cabo Verde-China Friendship Association, spreading activity across Praia, Mindelo, Santa Cruz and Sao Domingos rather than concentrating in a single city.
