CityFolk fills four late-summer days with folk, roots, indie and Americana acts on outdoor stages in Ottawa, evolved from the Ottawa Folk Festival founded in 1994. Rebranded and relocated under RBC Bluesfest management in 2015, it now draws headliners well beyond traditional folk while its companion event, Marvest, spotlights local musicians in free neighbourhood venues.

CityFolk brings four days of folk, roots and indie music to Ottawa each September, running on a lineage that stretches back to the Ottawa Folk Festival, founded in 1994.
