Ottawa Chamberfest in Ottawa
Ottawa Chamberfest turns churches, museum spaces and outdoor sites across the capital into concert halls for more than two weeks each summer, presenting upwards of 75 chamber music performances by touring and Canadian artists. Founded in 1994 as the Ottawa International Chamber Music Festival, it has grown into one of the largest festivals of its kind anywhere, pairing mainstage recitals with looser late-night Chamberfringe sets.
Ottawa Chamberfest fills churches, museum halls and the lawn of City Hall with chamber music for two-plus weeks every summer, built by a nonprofit founded in 1994.
