PuSh International Performing Arts Festival in Vancouver
Founded in 2003 by Norman Armour and Katrina Dunn, PuSh Festival fills Vancouver's quietest theatre season each January and February with genre-blending international performance, much of it receiving Canadian or North American premieres before touring elsewhere. Expect dance, spoken text, live music and video combined within single productions, staged across black-box theatres, warehouses and outdoor sites, with post-show discussions common.
PuSh International Performing Arts Festival gathers contemporary theatre, dance and interdisciplinary performance from around the world into roughly three weeks each January and February, staged across Vancouver venues that range from traditional black-box theatres to warehouses and outdoor sites chosen to match a given piece.
