Flowers Sea Swim in Seven Mile Beach
The Flowers Sea Swim is a one-mile open-water swim along Seven Mile Beach each June, drawing about a thousand competitors since its 1992 founding and offering over $100,000 in cash and random prizes, funded by Cayman's Flowers Group and supporting the Swim Free water safety programme.
Since its inception in 1992, the Flowers Sea Swim has grown from a local open-water event into one of the richest prize purses in competitive swimming worldwide, drawing around a thousand competitors to Seven Mile Beach each June for a one-mile course along Grand Cayman's most famous stretch of sand.
