Shanghai Half Marathon in Lujiazui/Shanghai
This mid-sized half marathon starts at Lujiazui's Oriental Pearl Tower and finishes at the Shanghai Oriental Sports Center, passing Nanpu Bridge, Expo Avenue and Qiantan Park along a mostly flat, roughly 15,000-runner course distinct from Shanghai's larger November marathon, giving spectators skyline views at the start and quieter riverside scenery toward the finish.
Shanghai's half marathon threads through Lujiazui's financial district before extending across some of the city's more recently developed riverside land, starting at the Oriental Pearl Tower and finishing at the Shanghai Oriental Sports Center, a route that passes the Nanpu Bridge, Expo Avenue and Qiantan Park along the way.
