Wuxi's Yuantouzhu Cherry Blossom Festival covers a 539-hectare Taihu Lake peninsula holding more than thirty thousand cherry trees across a hundred varieties, ranked among the world's three great cherry blossom sites, with recent editions adding light-and-shadow concerts, an electric eco-cruise ship and augmented-reality souvenir features to the traditional spring viewing.
