Moroni Music Festival

Moroni's music scene is anchored by a well-documented cluster of festivals: the Maore Music Festival each July, blending local and international musicians; the Festival of the Moon, which draws Comorian music, dance and poetry alongside artists from across the Indian Ocean; the Mwali Festival in June, centered on traditional music, dance and theatre; and Independence Day celebrations on July 6, featuring parades, dancing and traditional music throughout the capital.
