Kastav Cultural Summer in Kastav

Kastavsko kulturno ljeto, or Kastav Cultural Summer, is one of the Adriatic's oldest summer festivals, running from late June to late August for well over three decades. Centered on the open-air Crekvina venue, it closes each year with the Guitar Festival and the Chakavian-dialect Cansonfest.

Kastav, a small hilltop town above Rijeka, hosts one of the oldest continuously running summer cultural events on the Croatian Adriatic, second in longevity in the region only to the Dubrovnik Summer Festival.
