Liburnia Jazz Festival in Opatija

Liburnia Jazz Festival launched in Lovran in 2001 and moved to Opatija in 2003, where it now runs every first weekend of July as Croatia's largest jazz-oriented festival, spreading concerts across hotel terraces, boats, streets and a dedicated Summer Stage over three days. More than 3,000 visitors reportedly attend from across Croatia and the wider region each year.

Liburnia Jazz Festival held its first edition in 2001, launching in the nearby town of Lovran before relocating to Opatija in 2003, where it has remained since as the largest jazz-oriented event in Croatia.
