Rovinj Photodays in Rovinj

Rovinj Photodays, founded in 2008 by the Livingstone Association and Astoria, combines an international photography contest, year-round travelling exhibitions and a concentrated May festival finale in Rovinj, now one of Southeast Europe's most prestigious photography events. Recent editions have drawn thousands of submitted photographs from dozens of countries.

Rovinj Photodays was started in 2008 by the Livingstone Association together with the company Astoria, built around a structure that extends well beyond a single festival weekend: an annual photography contest open to international entrants, a series of travelling exhibitions staged in cooperation with galleries and cultural institutions throughout the year, and a concentrated festival finale held each May in Rovinj itself.
