Sibenik Dance Festival in Sibenik

Founded in 2011, Sibenik Dance Festival stages international contemporary choreography inside the city's medieval fortresses, St. Michael's and Barone, plus urban squares and, in recent years, additional venues in nearby Vodice, running roughly a week each July on the Dalmatian coast. Recent editions have hosted work by internationally recognized choreographers including Andonis Foniadakis, Xie Xin and Rami Be'er.
