Vis Cultural Summer runs roughly sixty days across July and August on the island of Vis, the most remote of the inhabited central Dalmatian islands, and like similar programs on Hvar and in Makarska it functions as a rotating civic calendar rather than one fixed event, spreading educational, cultural-artistic, entertainment and culinary programming across squares, old fortresses, churches, wine cellars, the town waterfront and outlying villages.
