Cest is d'Best in Zagreb

Founded in Zagreb in 1997 by street performers Pajo and Hadzi, Cest is d'Best turns the city's central streets and squares into open-air stages each May, hosting around 400 performers from dozens of countries across roughly six locations and five days. It is now considered Croatia's oldest continuously running street festival.

Cest is d'Best was founded in Zagreb in 1997 by musician and street performer Zlatko Petrovic, known as Pajo, together with Miran Hadzi Veljkovic, known as Hadzi, who wanted to bring art directly into public space rather than confine it to theatres and galleries.
