A week-long R&B, soul and comedy festival relocating to downtown Willemstad for Memorial Day weekend 2026 after twenty-two consecutive years based in Aruba, founded in 1995 by comedian Sinbad and built around marquee soul acts, stand-up comedy and beach parties for an established Black American travel audience.
Twenty-two consecutive years in Aruba came to an end when the Soul Beach Music Festival announced its move to Curacao for Memorial Day Weekend, relocating a Black American cultural institution founded in 1995 by comedian and actor Sinbad to a new Caribbean island for the first time in the festival's history.
