Kato Mylos Peach Festival in Kato Mylos
Kato Mylos's Peach Festival has run continuously since 1965, marking six decades of tradition, in this Pitsilia village at 750 metres. Around twenty stalls sell fresh peaches, delicacies, traditional products and handicrafts, alongside a live peach liqueur making demonstration, children's activities, a puppet theatre and an evening concert closing the late-August event.
Six decades of continuous celebration make Kato Mylos's Peach Festival one of the longest-running single-crop village festivals anywhere in Cyprus, running annually since 1965 in this Pitsilia village built 750 metres above sea level in the Limassol district hills.
