Paradise Jazz Festival in Pomos
Paradise Jazz Festival began in 1999 at Paradise Place in the west-coast village of Pomos, built by founder Socratis Efstathiou into a household name for Cypriot and international jazz lovers, featuring vocalists, international soloists and late-night jam sessions. Recent editions have shifted venue to nearby Gialia, so current-year location should be confirmed directly.
Socratis Efstathiou started the Paradise Jazz Festival in 1999 at Paradise Place, a bar-restaurant in the small west-coast village of Pomos in the Paphos district, and the event has since built a reputation as a household name for jazz lovers across Cyprus and internationally, drawing acclaimed vocalists and international soloists to a stretch of coastline defined by dramatic rocky cliffs and villages that have retained an unhurried, traditional pace.
