Rock for People in Hradec Králové
Rock for People began in 1995 in Cesky Brod with eighteen bands and around 1,100 visitors, before relocating in 2007 to a former military airfield in Hradec Kralove, now Park 360. Its thirtieth-anniversary edition ran for the first time as a five-day festival and drew a record fifty thousand visitors behind headliners including Linkin Park, Slipknot and Guns N Roses.
Rock for People started in 1995 in the small town of Cesky Brod with just eighteen bands and about eleven hundred visitors, and it grew steadily through the following decade, adding a second day in 1997, a third in 1998, before outgrowing its original home entirely and relocating in 2007 to a disused military airfield in Hradec Kralove, now developed as Park 360.
