Bohemia JazzFest in Prague/Plzen/Brno and others
Bohemia JazzFest, founded in 2005 by guitarist Rudy Linka, opens each July on Prague's Old Town Square before touring free open-air concerts through historic squares in cities across the Czech Republic, finishing in Ceske Budejovice. By 2010 it was already drawing more than seventy thousand fans nationwide, and Downbeat magazine has ranked it among the world's significant cultural events.
Bohemia JazzFest was founded in 2005 by Rudy Linka, a Czech-born jazz guitarist who splits his time between New York and his home country, built on a simple but unusual model: every concert, in every city, is free.
