Basinfirefest in Spálené Poříčí
Basinfirefest has run since 2003 on a large meadow in Spalene Porici, about twenty-four kilometres from Plzen, building a four-day programme spanning thrash, death, symphonic, folk and black metal rather than a single subgenre. Mixing international genre legends with rising acts, the festival offers organised camping, shuttle transport from Plzen, a cashless wristband payment system and a dedicated Metal Market for band merchandise.
Basinfirefest, also known simply as Basinfire, has run since 2003 on a large grassy meadow in Spalene Porici, a small town roughly twenty-four kilometres from Plzen, building a genuine multi-genre metal and rock identity that spans thrash, death, symphonic, folk and black metal within a single four-day programme rather than specialising narrowly in one subgenre.
