Sazavafest in Světlá nad Sázavou
Sazavafest began in 2001 as a single-day, single-stage event in Svetla nad Sazavou with around eighteen hundred capacity, growing within its first decade to seven stages and a three-day, multi-genre programme spanning world music, rock, reggae, jazz and hip hop alongside readings, theatre, film and workshops. Organisers have more recently said the festival can no longer be financially sustained in its previous form, though they have not described this as a definitive end.
