Gron Koncert in Multiple cities

Gron Koncert is a touring Danish charity concert series that began in 1982 and became an annual July tradition the following year, in partnership with Muskelsvindfonden. A single touring lineup performs across roughly ten Danish towns over about ten days, with several hundred volunteers travelling with the production to build and dismantle each stop.

Gron Koncert traces back to 1982, when a one-off concert marking the 400th anniversary of the Dyrehavsbakken amusement park, gifted by brewer Tuborg, proved successful enough that organizers looked for a way to repeat it.
