Royal Run Denmark in Multiple cities
Royal Run began in 2018 to mark then-Crown Prince Frederik's fiftieth birthday and now runs annually as a national celebration of community wellbeing, staging simultaneous one, five and ten-kilometre races across five Danish cities on the same May day. Members of the royal family, including King Frederik, travel between host cities to personally join runs in each location, organised by the public health initiative Move for Life.
Denmark's royal family runs alongside ordinary citizens across five different host cities in a single day for Royal Run, an event launched in 2018 to mark then-Crown Prince Frederik's fiftieth birthday and now established as an annual national celebration of community wellbeing and Denmark's strong running culture.
