Vig Festival in Vig
Vig Festival has run since the mid-1990s in the small Odsherred railway town of Vig, inside Denmark's only UNESCO-supported Global Geopark, built on volunteer labour from much of the local community. The three-day festival programmes rock, pop, R&B and soul across multiple stages, with a dedicated Kids Area distinguishing it as one of Denmark's most family-oriented major music festivals.
Vig, a small railway town in the Odsherred region of Zealand, sits inside Denmark's first and only UNESCO-supported Global Geopark, and Vig Festival, running since the mid-1990s, uses that setting for a three-day family-oriented music festival built on the volunteer labour of much of Odsherred's local association life.
